Cindy Sturla

Painting outdoors (plein air) is one of Cindy's favorite places to gather inspiration. Originally from Chicago, and a fine arts major at the University of Pittsburgh, Cindy moved to Florida in 1982 and says the move "literally turned the lights on in my art." After taking time to raise a family, Cindy started painting seriously a few years ago. She has spent many hours on location with fellow plein air enthusiasts and enjoys translating the energy and spirit that surface when surrounded by the natural environment.

Cindy is a founding member of The Plein Air Painters of Central Florida and a board member of the Central Florida Watercolor Society.
